Connecting Buyers With Sellers On The Internet

The Future of Traditional Advertising Mediums

As many of the top media sources continue to meet with today’s growing costs and technologies, the internet which is the only “global” source for information is still on the rise and it will only continue to grow. The internet unlike most conventional advertising sources is available to people on their terms including time and place. Consumers have the ability to tune out many of today’s marketing mediums rendering them ineffective to their intended audience. Television commercials have become subject to TiVo and DVR recordings, radio commercials are competing with XM and Sirius radio, and most of the top news papers and magazines are available online or through download on convenient hand held devices. In addition there is a strong ecological push to go “green” and “paperless” which will have even more adverse effects on other antiquated information sources like the Yellow Pages for example.

What Internet Marketing Means to You

What does this mean to advertisers hoping to capture their targeted customer right now, and in the future? As someone who has participated in all of the above mentioned advertising sources from a buyer’s position, I have found an optimistic return on investment and growth potential related to internet marketing and high organic ranking. These progressive methods of connecting buyers and sellers can be targeted to specific demographics, geo-targeted to a desired region, and edited as needed often without cost as market and competition changes occur. If you look at where internet related commerce was just a few years ago, it is easy to see that the growth trend is on the rise and indicative of where internet searches will be in 3 -5 years from now.
